Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid used as a non-surgical butt lift method due to its ability to add plenty of volume with minimal filler material. Sculptra works by triggering an inflammatory response in the body which creates scar tissue and stimulates an increase in collagen growth around the product. Patients can expect to be a bit sore but there really isn’t any downtime or recovery. Patients will need several sessions, spaced at two or three months apart, to get the full effect. The filler provides subtle results which will fade naturally over time.

Risks of Using Sculptra

Sculptra is not without certain risks such as lumps or bumps in the treatment area. If a patient doesn’t like the results, or if lumps occur, the patient must wait until the product naturally dissolves or have it surgically removed. It can take several years for the results of Sculptra to fade.
